"CREATE A FUTURE" - CHILD SPONSORSHIP SCHEME

The Trust is developing a child sponsorship scheme entitled "Create a Future".

This would allow each branch to sponsor an individual child, and feel involved in that child's development.

We are working with existing project partners in India to pilot a scheme, spanning both rural villages and urban slums.

The first pilot to be launched is with Seva Mandir, an Indian charity working in remote villages in Rajasthan, India. Many children from these villages, often as young as 9 or 10, migrate to towns to earn a living. The aim of the project is to sponsor individual children so that they can stay at home and complete their schooling. The Trust will initially be sponsoring some 200 children.
