What percentage of my donation goes on administration/fundraising?

The Trust is in a fortunate position in that Monsoon Accessorize pays for all its administration costs including salaries. This means that 100% of any donation from the public goes directly to the projects in South Asia.

Where does the money for the projects come from?

The Trust is a small charity and over half our funding comes from donations from Monsoon Accessorize Plc. through the sale of charity products. A third of the funding is raised from the sample sales. The balance is raised through our branches and donations from the public and our suppliers.

How do you decide which projects to support?

Projects need to fulfil the Trust's objectives of improving the lives of disadvantaged women and children in Asia with projects focusing on education, health and income generation. Projects are carefully assessed before funding is agreed.
